The CMI Leadership Academy Cohort 6 call for nominations was announced in September 2024, with an information meeting on October 8, and nominations due Friday, October 18. Members will be announced, and then begin working together on the 100 hours in January 2025.

Expected activities: Virtual meetings will begin in January 2025. Expected effort is approximately 100 hours from January to September 2025.
CMI Highlight on CMI Leadership Academy Cohort 6 selected
CMI Leadership Academy Cohort 6 activities included building their own version of the CMI Education and Outreach Toolkit and using it for outreach in their local areas. This expanded reach of the toolkit across the United States. Specific examples and where they were used are described in several CMI Highlights: California, New Jersey, West Virginia, and Iowa, Indiana and Colorado.
During the 2025 Critical Annual Meeting, CMI celebrated members of the CMI Leadership Academy Cohort 6. The members who were at the meeting described their experiences with group projects, including readings and discussions, building a CMI Education Toolkit and using it for outreach across the country, and planning an event.
