CMI Education Toolkit used for outreach

Innovation    
CMI Leadership Academy members are using the magnet activity from the CMI Education Toolkit in outreach activities across the United States.

Achievement   

  • Inspire youth to consider STEM careers in the future by sparking interest through science-related activities.  
  • Kit used during a STEM fair at a high school in Indiana.   
  • Kit used during classroom outreach event at a high school in Iowa.   
  • Magnets from kit used to encourage 13 youth in grades 1-3 in Michigan, as well as another activity to determine if household items are magnetic.
