New Ames Lab atomizer unlocks materials for next-generation gas turbines and fusion energy

Now, Ames Lab is building on that expertise with a new refractory metal powder atomization system that will help researchers develop materials for extreme environment applications, such as gas turbines and fusion energy systems.

New equipment expands DNP-NMR research capabilities at Ames Lab

National labs provide opportunities for faculty to collaborate on research

The DOE Office of Workforce Development for Teachers and Students Visiting Faculty Program (VFP) is designed for full-time faculty to collaborate on a research project at one of 15 DOE national laboratories for enhancing research capacity and innovating STEM teaching and learning at faculty members’ home institutions.
