CMI Education & Workforce Development staff share CMI lesson plans with outreach experts from across the country

CMI researchers from Colorado School of Mines conducted the activity for this highlight

Achievement

  • CMI Education Workforce Development staffers from Colorado School of Mines attended the National Science Foundation-funded STEM Push Convening at the University of Pittsburgh, which is a CMI Team member.
  • Cynthia Howell and Danielle Ladd participated in 2.5 days of discussions. Ladd presented a well-received session featuring “student as the architect of their future and student voice,” and presentation slides will be part of the resource repository for other organizations to use. 

Significance and Impact

  • Brainstorming sessions to improve on resource tools. 
  • Reviewing and utilizing newly developed resources to reach audiences of all ages.
  • Keeping the resource tool repository alive at another setting after grant end in 2026.
