Professional Development and Growth

  • Participated in DAAD programs (2012–2013) at the Technical University of Munich before and during PhD studies at LNU (Ukraine, graduated 2016).
  • Worked as a postdoc in materials science at Iowa State University (2018–2021), then at the University of Alberta (2021–2024) on machine learning in chemistry and joined Ames National Laboratory in 2024 as a postdoctoral researcher (CMI).
  • Recognized with ISU Postdoctoral Excellence Award (2020)

For CMI, optimized Li extraction technology and exceeded the set project targets, leading to several publications and a patent application. Expanded technology to other critical elements and feedstocks.
