Achievement
Arindam Mukhopadhyay, a current CMI principal investigator, received the Idaho National Laboratory Outstanding Postdoc of the Year Award, for fiscal year 2024.

Significance and Impact

  • Arindam was mentored at INL by a number of current CMI team members, including Daniel Ginosar, Meng Shi, David Reed and Yoshiko Fujita and by former INL staff member Luis Diaz Aldana.
  • Following his promotion to a staff position in early 2024, Arindam became the PI for the CMI project on thin film semiconductor recycling, aimed at recovering tellurium and cadmium from end-of-life solar panels.
