Yongqin Jiao, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, was a member of the CMI Leadership Academy Cohort 1. Now, she has been named as one of the LLNL Distinguished Members of Technical Staff (DMTS), in recognition of extraordinary scientific and technical contributions.

Jiao currently is a Deputy Division Director for S&T at LLNL, part of a 19-year career that began as a postdoc, then staff scientist and group leader.
DMTS is the highest technical staff level achievable by a scientist or engineer at LLNL and is a prestigious recognition on the personnel ladder.
