CMI leaders were recognized during the Advanced Materials and Manufacturing Technologies Office (AMMTO) stakeholder community meeting, December 10-11, 2024.

Achievement
CMI won awards for Visionary Leadership and Community Impacts. During the poster session, CMI shared information about the Energy Innovation Hub and research by CMI’s four Focus Areas.

Significance and Impact

  • CMI Director Tom Lograsso, Ames National Laboratory, recognized for his role in transitioning CMI to a third phase of operations.
  • CMI Focus Area Deputy Santa Jansone-Popova, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, and CMI Project Lead Andriy Palasyuk, Ames National Laboratory, received the Impact Award, in part for their leadership in organizing a critical materials session for TechConnect in 2024.
