Jennifer Brockpahler is the Operations Manager for the Critical Materials Institute. Based in Ames at CMI headquarters, Jen is responsible for managing the business operations for CMI and its 20+ national laboratory, academic, an industrial partners. She coordinates research and reporting efforts across participating institutions, while assisting with setting operational milestones and deliverables, and defining and coordinating the execution of CMI’s business operations that deliver the CMI program.
Jen has been with CMI since its inception, first assisting with the writing of the initial proposal and then becoming the first administrative specialist for the program. In her role as Operations Manager, she enjoys working with the CMI Leadership Team and researchers as an advocate for the under-one-roof operation of CMI.
