Shailesh Dangwal, Oak Ridge National Laboratory
Shailesh Dangwal is a postdoctoral researcher at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. He has earned both a masters and doctorate degree in Chemical Engineering at Oklahoma State University. Currently, his work includes separation and recovery of critical battery materials and rare earth elements from end-of -life electronic waste using membrane solvent extraction (MSX) system. Previously he worked on gas separation, CO2 capture, water purification , and membrane reactors. His work at ORNL has been published (link to ORNL news release: https://www.ornl.gov/news/
As a member of the CMI Leadership Academy fifth cohort, he developed the CMI Short Course that was held April 11, 2024, at Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Colorado.
