CMI organizes, presents Critical Materials Tutorial at TechConnect

CMI leaders and researchers planned the Critical Materials Tutorial, open to all attendees at the TechConnect World Innovation Conference & Expo, held in Austin, Texas, June 9-11, 2025.

Significance and Impact

  • The Critical Materials Tutorial covered key aspects of rare earth markets, supply chains and magnets, as well as the science and engineering necessary for the extraction, processing, manufacturing and recycling of rare earths.
  • Instructors included CMI leaders and researchers from universities and national laboratories.
