For those expecting infrequent instrument use or few samples, we recommend submitting a Materials Processing Request (MPR) and allowing our Sensitive Instrument Facility (SIF) staff to characterize your sample for you. The SIF offers a wide array of materials processing services, and we will work with you to fulfill your request.
Please allow 1-2 weeks for your request to be processed.
To request materials processing:
- Familiarize yourself with our capabilities and rates (found within our FAQ). *Note that both the labor and instrument rates apply on an hourly basis.
- Complete the Materials Processing Request form
- You will be notified by e-mail when your request has been approved (or rejected)
