
The United States Secretary of Energy is in Central Iowa on Wednesday visiting the Ames Laboratory. The lab is working on ways in which the United States can be less reliant on oversea suppliers.
Secretary of Energy Dan Brouillette was touring the Critical Materials Institute. He was at the facilities for more than three hours, discussing the new discoveries made by the program and how they will increase the U.S. independence from foreign energy suppliers.
