The Board of Directors of Optica recently announced their 2024 Fellows class. Among the awardees was Jigang Wang, a scientist at Ames National Laboratory. Fellows are Optica members who are selected based on several factors, including outstanding contributions to research, business, education, engineering and service to Optica, and our community.
Wang was awarded this honor "for outstanding contributions to ultrafast spectroscopy and pioneering ultralow cryogenic magneto-THz microscopy, unveiling significant light-matter quantum and coherent many-body phenomena."
