The Center for the Advancement of Topological Semimetals welcomes new principal investigator Qiong Ma

The Center for the Advancement of Topological Semimetals (CATS) welcomes Qiong Ma, a junior faculty member in the Department of Physics at Boston College, as a new Principal Investigator.  Qiong has been a CATS member from the very beginning in her previous role as a postdoc working with Pablo Jarillo-Herrero at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Qiong has been very productive as a postdoc, co-authoring two Nature articles, a review article in Nature Physics, and co-organizing a workshop on non-linear properties of topological materials. As a Principal Investigator in CATS, Qiong will contribute her experimental expertise to two projects; (1) Scanning magneto-photocurrent microscopy and spectroscopy in even-layered MnBi2Te4 (MBT), and (2) Fabricating twist MBT moiré structures. Please join me in welcoming Qiong!
