Student/Faculty Internships

Welcome to the site where you will begin your journey to apply for one of Ames Laboratory’s three premier education programs for students and faculty – SULI, VFP and CCI.  Our programs are diverse, reaching out to undergraduates, faculty, and community-college students from around the country.

When you come to work at our Department of Energy national laboratory, whether as an undergraduate, community-college student, or faculty member, you can expect to be enmeshed in a cutting-edge research or technical environment, working alongside scientists, post-docs and graduate students in exciting hands-on research and technical projects.  Many of our students and faculty also interact with peers in research programs at Iowa State University, a Tier 1 research university.  ISU is the home of the Ames Laboratory.
