Abstract

py and spectroscopic techniques taking advantage of the Nd3+ spectroscopic probe to analyze in detail the structural properties. Applied high resolution low temperature absorption and emission techniques allowed to complete the structural information unavailable from the XRD powder patterns. A clear influence of the used task-specific dihydrogen phosphate ILs on the structure, morphology, luminescence intensity and lifetimes of the obtained Nd3+:LaPO4 was found. It is worth noting that the Nd3+ luminescence in LaPO4 has never been reported up to now. (C) 2016 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
