Innovation
For the CMI Leadership Academy, early career professionals in CMI participate in a yearlong series of activities to enhance their capabilities in management and leadership in a research environment. Cohort 4 planned the inaugural CMI Short Course, held in January 2023, in Golden, Colorado. 

Achievement
At the CMI Winter Meeting hosted by Colorado School of Mines in January 2023, CMI celebrated the accomplishments of the fourth cohort. The group was introduced at the previous Winter Meeting, where they served as moderators for oral presentations and judges for the student and postdoc poster session.

CMI early career professionals enhance their preparedness to take on new roles and responsibilities.
