iCOUP scientist Tao Li recognized with ACS Emerging Researcher Award

The American Chemical Society (ACS) Division of Energy and Fuels has named iCOUP scientist Tao Li as the recipient of itsTao Li 2022 Emerging Researcher Award. Li holds a joint appointment between Northern Illinois University and Argonne National Laboratory, and his research includes developing multi‐functional biomaterials for drug/gene delivery; developing high‐performance nano‐catalysts for energy conversion; and developing advanced tools for in situ and operando characterization of catalytic Materials.

The award, accompanied by a plaque and $1,000 prize, recognizes and encourages scientists who are early or midway into their careers and have made sustained and distinguished contributions to the field of fuel chemistry. It will be presented during the Spring ACS Meeting 2023.
