Fall SULI program wraps up

Four Ames Laboratory Science Undergraduate Laboratory Internships (SULI) students wrapped up their fall semester session with a poster session and luncheon on December 8.  The students, Kaiser Aguirre, Adam Dziulko, Shannon Goes, and Kathryn White have spent the last 16 weeks working in research laboratories on projects with Ames Laboratory scientist/mentors.  Speaking on behalf of scientists and staff, Deputy Director Tom Lograsso told the interns Ames Laboratory and its contractor, Iowa State University, benefit greatly from the creativity students and mentors alike bring to their SULI research internships. “Ultimately, we hope this experience will help prepare our students for careers in science.” said Lograsso. “We’re confident you’ll be very successful in whatever you choose to do.”
