Research Interests

Study new/next generation magnetic materials including high energy magnets, nanocomposite magnets, and high temperature magnets using rapid solidification, inert gas atomization and liquid phase sintering techniques. Reveal and establish the relations of magnetic properties to alloy composition, microstructure and technical process based on Material Science, Physics and Metallurgical principles. Design and develop high performance magnets for energy-efficient or advanced electronic devices.
