Cedar Falls High School 2024 Science Bowl Team

Congratulations to the Cedar Falls High School team for winning the 34th annual Ames National Laboratory/Iowa State University Regional Science Bowl! The competition took place on the Iowa State University campus on Saturday, Feb. 3.

A total of 22 teams traveled to Iowa State to compete in this year’s match. The competition began in the morning, with double-elimination rounds taking place in the afternoon. Ranking from the final matches are as follows: Pleasant Valley High School took second place, Ames High School took third place, and West Des Moines Valley took fourth place overall.

 

The Cedar Rapids High School team will represent the Iowa Region at the U.S. Department of Energy National Science Bowl (NSB)® April 25-29, 2024, in Washington, DC.
